I believe, echoing philosopher G.K. Chesterton, that the dignity of the artist lies in his duty of keeping awake the sense of wonder in the world. Because of this, I want to capture the many senses of wonders that exist and flourish in today’s world, and to add to ourselves a sense of value through days of old.

I valorize Tradition and the heritage of Western Music, believing that “tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire” (Gustav Mahler). My music therefore contains many influences, from plain chant to cinematic music, from renaissance counterpoint to pandiatonicism and post-minimalism.

My musical heroes are, without doubt, composers like Benjamin Britten, Eric Whitacre, Arvo Pärt, Galina Grjgorieva and Thomas Newman.
